The true religion of God and that is why my family and I converted to Islam about 6 months ago or so. We were tired of reading about pornography, stories and songs in the bible which have no moral lessons. We realised that the bible was just like any other novel. Read the glorious Quran and you will know the truth. Yeh, by the way, the bible was written by oridinary people 40 years after Jesus death, what is so special about this useless book?

Well, I am a Christian as well as a human being but my thought about Islam is not bad. I think some of the people are viewing the Islam according to the media, but it is not their mistake. With all the respect to the Islam, let me say that, those mistakes are being created by the extremists. I haven't made any sort of research in Quran or something else, but I believe Islam or any other religion teaches us to live in peace and harmony. If somebody is trying to support violence in the name of religion, then we must condemn it. Anyhow, if we want to live in peace and harmony, we must respect all the religions, not the extremism. So, in my view Islam is a good religion along with all other religions that supports humanity.

Actually, it isn't the media at all, but "Muslims" that have negatively affected the world view of Islam. The radicals have hijacked the religion and the true Muslims have not decried their horrendous behaviors.
I've read the Quran and many Hadiths. The Prophet (pbuh) was a brilliant man. But his wisdom seems to have escaped so many these days. The focus seems to be on passages taken out of context in the Quran.
I believe Islam is a peaceful religion that has been twisted into something ugly by its own believers. How unfortunate.

True Islam is what is written in Quran, not what is written in Muslim minds. If u want to know a religion u have to read its religious book. History of Islam is different from History of Muslims. Opinion of historian De Lacy O’Leary:

My views are based on Muhammad's beliefs. It is sad one man convinced an entire portion of the world to leave God and follow him. Yeah I know you will argue that the Qu'ran and is the word of God and that all other scriptures of God is corrupt. the fact of the matter is you only have Muhammad's word for it as your Allah only speaks through him...the words of God prior to him are corrupt and there are no words after him so you have no choice if Muhammad was wrong then your whole salvation depends on one sinful man...If you can show me one truth in all of Islam that did not come from this one man you might be able to make some point about having the word of God ...there is no way that God only speaks through one man and your entire salvation depends on this one sinful man...as in if he isn't the truth you have no truth....Have ever really considered that? Is this the way God works? It isn't the was the true God of Abraham works and if Allah makes this claim and can't be him where does that leave you?

Islam is complete way of life.It is according to nature.It also accept the religions of christian and Jew.All muslim accept that Moses and Prohhets are true.If some muslims are doing wrong deeds then it is not fault of islam,it is their personal mistakes.Islam says that Allah(God) is the only Creator of the all universe and also control of universe is in hand,death and life is also in his hand also He made a system for sucsess for human kind.If we obey his orders according his prophet Muhammad peace be upon him,He will succeed us in both worlds here and here after.It is basedon actual on The Quran and Sunnah.

Islam is a combination of Judaism and Christianity with some Zoroasterism thrown in.Just change the promise from Isaac to Ishmael,make Jesus virgin born and just a prophet,turn El Allah ,the Moon God into the Almighty ,use that crescent Moon on your flag and,Voila! New Religion.

They sound awfully violent to me!
I don't care which translation you use!
Then explain Islamic Courts and why you want them in other countires. You go to other countries, you live within their rules, you don't go creating your own rules.
Can Christians have Christian Courts in Saudi Arabia or IRan!
Christians can't even celebrate Christmas in those countries without getting arrested.
You go on and try and covert people to Islam, but can a Christian in Iran or Iraq or Syria try and convert an Islamic to Christianity! People get jailed or killed for trying to do that.
If WE used YOUR rules on YOU, you'd call us Racist, but you can use those rules on US in your nations and that's cool.
Too much DOUBLE standard in Islam. YOu can get away with it but others can't. How come Christians can't hold public office in Syria or Iran.
How come Atheists or Buddhists can't do that either!
Maybe WE should start taxing Mosques in England, Australia, Canada and the US. You tax us in your country.
Instead do you know what we do. If you have a prayer room in your home we give you a TAX WRITE OFF or TAX BREAK for doing that in some countries.
Do you do that for Christians in Syria, IRan, Iraq, Saudi Arabia!
In America we just elected a Muslim to Federal Goverment and Let him use a Qur'an. NAME ONE ISLAMIC NATION THAT ELECTS A CHRISTIAN TO OFFICE AND LET'S THEM USE A BIBLE! Name JUST ONE PERSON, just ONE NATION!

A cult. I could never handle anyone telling me how to live MY life.
I have done research on islam, my opinions do not come from the media only. Personally it is not a religion for me.
