I mean if all the sects claim themselves rightfully guided and others to be misguided and Wahabis think everyone else is infidel (even muslims) how can Muslims unite?

By stop caring who is right, who is wrong, stop blaming, be more understanding and open minded, let go of worldy things and importance rather than care more about the position here in this world, but for what? What is important is our belief for God, we are brothers and sisters under the same sky.
We are humans, how can we say we are absolutely correct? All we can do is try the best to follow and worship Allah, in the end only Him knows what is the true way. So it is not up to us to say who is correct, it is up to Him. So therefore we must care about this much more than about caring who is right.

it seems as though the majority of the Muslim disunity is in the Middle East, where the smallest percentage of world-wide Muslims are. So it could also be the Arab and Iranian and tradition issues.

Muslims need to just identify themselves as Muslims not as Sunni or Sufi or Wahhabi etc. The beliefs may differ slightly, but everyone will be judged according to their piety and we as people cannot determine the level of anyone's piety so we shouldn't judge them. For example, someone could be Wahhabi and really strict, but they may be less pious than someone else who they look down upon.
