psyc ops...or psychological operations...on television they are made to seem horrible...but these area very important and necessary part of the military...and remember...BOTH sides use them.

the marines play a mind game where you get off of the plane which the bootcamp is right near the airport in california. they put you on a bus at night and make you sit 3 per seat. your eyes closed and your head down as the bus driver drives around the block a few times to make it feel like the bootcamp is really in the middle of nowhere. and when you get off the bus they do nothing but yell at you. pretty much makes you all confused and scared

In Basic training they play mind games with you. They act like nothing you do is right. They break you down hardcore, but slowly build you back up. Everything in basic training is a game.
