No highlights at all. All too many people do not appreciate the beautiful hair they were born with. So many people would love to have a lovely head full of thick, lustrous black hair, and yet you are unsatisfied for some reason. Don't buy into the "lighter hair" mentality that pervades our society. If these blonde or brunettes could have black hair they would.

Red highlights in dark hair are very very nice. Take it from a guy who dated a brunette for 6 months.

I think you should get golden/caramel color highlights. That would look really nice. Somethink like bright blonde wouldnt look good. I was planning on getting highlights again, but its such a hasstle! You have to keep getting it done OVER N OVER N OVER AGAIN! And if you dont want to get them re-done, you have to dye all ur hair over again! ....thats just my personal experience. :)

...you shouldn't, the dark look you have naturaly is so beautiful and exotic...it's also very popular now for people who don't have it to go and dye their hair black for that mysterious look...that is your culture, why ruin it with blonde or brown or whatever color highlights...keep your hair the way it is...what if you do this and really don't like it?...stop trying to be someone else's depiction of beauty...

sometimes ( depends on how thick the highlights r) blonde highlights r cute, but they stand out tooooooo much, me personally, i like natural looks, but if u want highlights try a brown,if u want it to stand out try a light brown, if not dark would go best

well because you have black hair you could go with a medium brown and a tint of maroonish red and then work your way up.

red. trust me, it looks great. even better, i dyed my hair red but it was after i dyed it black, so the red didn't show through very well, but in the sun it looked like cherry coke. it was very pretty.

I would do a nice burgundy.They sell kits in the store, or go to the salon.

u should get red not to brite or too dark but just enough so i stands out
