Jesus was a Jew. Yes. Read the New Testament of the Bible. It's all in there. Christianity, as such, started in the book of Acts. When Jesus Himself compelled people to follow Him and be His disciples, they did so as Jews. They lived as Jews. I don't know when the name Christian actually came about. I don't think the disciples were trying to rebel and form a movement. They were just stoked to be in Christ's presence and wanted to proclaim it from every corner of the earth.

Jesus was be a type of Reformist Jew.
The Reformist Jews have actually embrassed a lot of what Jesus was trying to say how to be.
He was trying to modernize the Jews.

Yes, he was born a Jew, lived his entire life as a Jew, observed all the laws of the Jewish religion and was buried as a Jew. The Last Supper was a Passover Seder. His followers called him "Rabbi." There is no doubt about it. He would be shocked that his followers do not follow his religion.

Certainly Jesus was a Jew, but he is the head of all the true christians in the world. He is the founder of christianity. So he would have been the first christian in that sense. As a orthodox Jew he was the only one that ever kept the whole law of God.

Christ was the anointing that Jesus received from God to carry out His earthly ministry. It means the anointed one and His anointing. To be Christian is to take on that anointing and continue the ministry. I could be a Jew and a Christian

Chrstianity did not exist until years after his death. Of course he was a Jew. The last supper was the Pesach meal! How else could he "break" the bread if it was not more like a cracker, like matzah? Wouldn't he have "torn" the bread instead, then?

To be honest, I don't think Jesus would have anything to do with modern day Christians. Jesus was more concerned with people who really needed help. Modern Christians seem like they are more concerned about how they look for church on sunday or what kind of car thay are driving to church. Jesus was Jewish and he never called himself a christian.
