I have a crush on this really shy girl. She has low self esteem too.

I normally don't go for shy girls, i don't know how to get this girl. Would getting her a Valentine be a good idea?

Maybe you should just straight forward and ask her out. Is there any sighns that she like you? How do you normally get girls? You could always tell her how good she looks everyday or tell her something special you see about her everyday. That may bring her self esteem up. Only other people can bring someones self esteem up.

A Valentine would be wonderful. If she has low self-esteem, that would definitely boost it. Knowing someone cares about you is always a good thing! :) Go for it, man!

Don't use a pick up line first of all. But, instead show her you can be sweet by just complementing her one day. Then the next tell her she did a great job on her report or if she plays a sport tell her she did great at the game. Then the next drop a card by her door at her house or in her locker.

SHE WILL LOVE YOU FOR LIFE

yes, getting her a valentine would be a good idea because...
a.) it will flatter her
b.) flattering her will raise her self esteem(because she'll know that a boy likes her)
c.) she might talk to you more(especially if there's something to talk about. because she might have not have thought of anything to talk about before and that's why she might be shy, but now with a valentine she'll actually have a reason to talk to you)
d.) and why not? if you like her, go for it!
good luck! ~Faith

Totally valentines are very romantic. But even though she's shy there is more to her than that, send her a valentine and get to know her.

as one of the 'shy ones with low self-esteem' I know how she feels. Become friends with her, show her you are trustworthy, then offer a date. Also you should get her a sunflower and a note that says, "Your smile is just as bright as this flower"

1st of all , u must show to her that u are genuine and sincere of wining her over. try talking to her nicely and be serious when u have to.i think u shouldn't rush into giving her a valentine as u may frighten her off.so i suggest u take things slow and let her get to know u better.

do no longer come on too stable. the final attitude would be to circulate out on a double date with people she knows and is comfortable with. can no longer circulate incorrect with a dinner and a action picture. Dinner would be the ice breaker, and a action picture helps somewhat extra intimacy with out being too intimate. as quickly as she knows your "risk-free", she would be waiting to no longer be so shy.

yes it would.... roses.. candy... card or whatever. she will be thrilled just to know someone cares, but make it personal so that she knows its not just some cruel joke... give her some time to get over the shock and if she doesnt respond ask her again.

best of luck to you.
