Do I need a sticker? Do I get a pass (for a reduced fare)? I'm new to all of this and the Metro line is not very informative on it's website! Any information that you can give me regarding riding the Metro bus line in Los Angeles with a Disabled ID card would be appreciated beyond belief!

Yes, you need to buy a monthly sticker for $12. They are available at:

- Metro Pass sales outlets ( http://www.mta.net/riding_metro/pass_token/SalesLocations.asp )
- Metro customer Service centers ( http://www.mta.net/riding_metro/riders_guide/contact_us-01.htm )
- By mail ( http://www.metro.net/images/metromail_order_eng.pdf )

how often do you ride Metro? if you get a sticker -you
are techinaly buying a "pass" for that month (it costs $12.00)
you just place the sticker on your ID card
if you dont ride the metro that much you can also get a day pass
for $1.50 good all day or you can 45 cents each time you board
the bus.
also remember that other transit agencies will NOT accpect
Metro day pass or their pass/sticker (other then LADOT)
they will honor thie ID card for the disable fare on their buses
also you might want to look into apply for Access services
(http://www.asila.org) as if you are accpected into their
program and then you can ride FREE with the ASI card.
on almost every transit system in Los Angeles

There is a buzzer. It is controlled either by a cable above the window that you pull on, or a strip of rubber tape between the windows that you push on. It depends on how old the bus is.
