Stop with the Protein Shakes -you should be geting the protein from what you eat for unless you are burning the calories in the shakes they are being stored as fat.Anything you do not use gets stored as fat. The protein shakes are probably why you are not seeing anything different. Also it takes at least 6-8 weeks of 6days a week for on the 7th you rest(your muscles actually build during the rest period for when you work your muscles to the burn BUT no further and NEVER Pain you are actually tearing the muscle fibers and its in the repairing that the muscle grows. In order to have a 6pack its also necessary to get lean and esp if you have daily access oto the Y run or jog the inside track for approx 1hr but best if 11/2hr and better to jog than run for its not how hard but how long and then do 30minutes of weight training with the situps. You get good abdominal results if you do 15 from the shoulders situps(not the whole back off the floor for safer and just as effective if shoulders only) do 15reps and then Crunch 10,do another 15 and then 10 crunch. Also be sure to work upper and lower abdominals and sides_obliques.www.sportsmedicineabout.com is a good website that shows abdominal workout lots of others do a seaarch on abdominal workout. and do not do supplements for only for the very serious weightlifters that want to add awhole lot of bulk. Bsides Protein poder drinks can in time upset the elektrolyte levels and cause serious health problem. For extra protein go to grocery deli and get breastturkey approx 1 pound. then every day eat 3-4slices(No bread or sandwich)just roll the turkey and eat. Its a excellent source of lean protein, low in fat and gives you B12-energy.Be sure the turkey is sliced thin.

My my my, their is so much you can doo! Okay, don't expect to get that desired 6 pack by crunching in situp after situp. You have to run. Running is what burns off that fat around your stomach. Diet is also an important part. Don't forget to build muscle. The more muscle you have, the more calories you can burn. I suggest the book "The Abs Diet" It's not a diet, it's a lifestyle. The best thing is you get a day off of your "diet". You eat healthy for 6 days then the 7th day you eat what you want. I love the foods on the healthy days so much, that eventually I didn't even eat junk food on my "day off" It's eye opening and it's easy. I suggest you read that and other books for more information.

First things first, you need to work out the correct carb and protien intake for your lean body mass. For example if you are 79Kilos - 174 lb your protien intake should be that of your weight 174 grams. And for carb intake you need 2 grams per pound of body weight. Foods you should be eating for PROTIEN: egg whites, protien powders, fish, turkey. Foods you should be eating for CARBS: Oatmeal, asparagus, brocolli, stawberries, brown rice, sweet potato.

For specific ab training i suggest training three days a week to start off. Train abs before any other body part to ensure that your ab muscles will get the most energy for the workout.
I suggest crunches, lying leg raisers and side crunches. Before and after training have a good amount of carbs and protien, these are the correct times to use your protien shakes. All other meals throughout the day should be wholesome foods such as turkey, brown rice, sweet potato etc.
An hour after you work out eat a high carb and high protien meal.

GOOD LUCK WITH THE ABS AND THE LADIES

As crazy as it sounds, you already HAVE a six pack! We ALL have a six pack. The reason its not showing is because of the layer of fat that is in front of it. Sit ups only tone and carve out the six pack but if you want that to show, you'll need to focus more on the diet. My advice to you is exercise and eat smart/healthy. Remember, alot has to do with the diet so definitely cut out all the unhealthy junk food, snacks, sodas, candy, etc. Focus more on vegetables and vegetables and eat chicken for your meat. You'll see a better difference in a month guaranteed!

crunches are the best way. but you need to pay more attention to quality then quantity. crunches should be done slow and hold 5 to 10 seconds in the up position. you can altenate left elbow to right knee and then switch. right elbow to left knee. most importantly remember to hold in the up position. you should start feeling the burn after just a few.

a six pack requires a little more stickability. Go to the gym and use the weight machines, they increase the use of the abdominal muscles which will cause the six pack to appear in a few short weeks.

I believe the best way to get a six-pack is not just by doing sit-ups, or push-ups. You need to work out every part of your body. It takes time, by taking VITAMIN SUPPPLEMENTS can help you with it. A Heatly diet is also good indeed.

you should do both crunches and sit-ups.
stomach muscles are generally the hardest to 'train'
and would take a longer period of time for any changes to become obvious.
