We have been together for over four years. He is seven years older than me. I love him but I don't like him. He kept talking about getting married. I am not emotionally ready to get married to anyone yet. He asked me when I would be ready and I don't have the answer. He told me that I made his life misseriable. Do I need to feel guilty? I told him that I want to break up with him but he kept calling me. I don't know how to break up with him since I love him and he did not do anything to hurt me. My friends and family don't like him and mad at me for staying with him for too long. We are still going out but argue all the time. What should I do?

You can love each other, but it doesn't mean you will be happy together. Hum...sounds a little confusing, right?
Maybe, (this happened to me) you love him, but deep down inside you know you won't be happy together, especially when you say that you argue all the time.
Why your family & friend don't want you to be with him? They might be right.
Do you want to marry someone that says that you make his life miserable? I don't think so...Move on girl!! Make your decision, and DO NOT FEEL GUILTY!!!

If this person truly loves you he would wait until you felt ready. You shouldn't feel guilty, it's very normal. But breaking up isn't the solution. Have a long, personal talk with him and see if you can settle things out.

Oh honey you need A LOT of help.

I don't even know where to begin.

But the best advice i have for you, is to stop showering, swear a lot, never be happy around him. don't lift a finger for him, don't do ANYTHING for him.

He'll break up w/ you. And if he doesn't.... he's afraid of being alone, and call the cops and tell them you have a stalker and you want a restraining order against him.

:o)

If he loves you then he can wait... i mean if you guys know your going to be together then whats the rush.. ive been with my girl for 3 years, she is pregnant with my son and we not married, i ask her all the time when we gonna get married babe.. and she jokes when im ready sweetheart.. and its cool ya know because i know she loves me.. you need to tell him this.. tell him you dont like to feel pressured.. that will just lead to misery!!

You should honestly follow your heart. Sometimes when two people love eachother alot, they forget how much they really love eachother and put it all aside and just put the stupid useless things first when all they should be doing is telling and showing eachother how much they really love eachother. Good Luck. But no you should not feel guilty.

TELL HIM WHAT YOU THINK. YOU FEEL THAT YOUR RELATIONSHIP IS GOING NO WHERE AND HE DOESN'T SEEM TO GRASP THAT. IF YOU ARGUE LIKE ALL THE TIME ITS GONNA BE WORSE IF YOU MARRY BECAUSE THEN....YOUR LIFE IS GONNA BE MISERABLE. THIS GUY DOESN'T WANT TO LET YOU GO BUT HE HAS TO UNDERSTAND THAT YOU DON'T WANT TO BE WITH HIM. WHAT DOES HE WANT YOU TO DO TO MAKE HIM UNDERSTAND? DOES HE NEED YOU TO CHEAT ON HIM TO SHOW HIM THAT YOU DON'T LIKE HIM?
JUST TELL HIM THAT YOU WANT A BREAK....OR TELL HIM YOU CALL IT QUITS AND THAT YOU NO LONGER WANT TO HEAR FROM HIM AT ALL.
IT HE KEEPS CALLING CHANGE UR NUMBER.

You have to like someone before you can love them.Friendship is the basis for a good and healthy relationship. My husband is my best friend, not only do I love him but I really really like him.
You have really answered your own question.......time to break it off for good.

Boyfriends come and go, don't upset your family, they know what they are talking about. Your family will be with you always to watch out for you. If you are not happy, leave him

Yes! It means that he loves her so much that he only wants to be with her, and that he wants to make that union permanent and legal!
