I come here every day and every single one of them, I read a question from a teenager, just too young to be mothers.. you know? 13, 14 year olds.. It's just... I mean, I'm 18 and I won't be hypocritical, I have had sex. Even, I was 14 when I did it first time. But it was SAFE SEX. Why can't 13 and 14 year old just do it that way? I mean, if you're 13 and gonna do it, what does it cost doing it safe???

Sex is the most sacred and beautiful thing that a man and a woman can share after they are married and make a commitment to be there for each other for life. It makes me so mad when people tell children that a glorified rubber band will give them 'protection', it only stops a few germs and that is it. The rest of the psychological damage (which is far worse) is just allowed to happen, this type of casual sex devalues the human spirit so much that people never recover, what is worse they never think that anything bad has happened, they blame their lack of self worth, depression and suicidal thoughts on the 'cruel' world and everything else other than the fact that they sold their birthright for a roll in the hay with a rubber.
Condoms do not make sex safe, a good marriage does.
Your virginity is the best gift you can give your spouse.

Well kids these day are too damn lazy to use a condom. I mean I had sex for the first time when I was 16, and I've had it about 100 time since then, but I'm not an idiot so I use a condomm. It's probably because of the sex ed classes today. They are too pressured by the crazy parents, to dull down sex ed classes, so kids have to find out what sex is like on their own. They dont find out how easy it is to get pregnant, and how to put on a condom the right way.

Why would a 13 or 14 year old even have sex to start with. They are no where near old enough to deal with the ramifications of such behavior. Parents are no longer teaching their children the difference between wrong and right. Times have changed and promiscuity is the in thing. It's part of the reason this country is going down hill so fast.

The problem isn't just that kids that young are having sex, it's probably because they don't understand all of the repercussions that fall out of that. After all, they're not even old enough to drive at 13 or 14, so how in the heck can they make good decisions?

Safe sex doesn't gaurantee anything. All it does is reduce the risk of pregnancy and STDs. We don't seem to be doing a good job of mentoring kids to make good decisions in their lives or guiding them into lifestyles that would prevent teen pregnancies and STDs.

This is just my opinion and not meant to offend anyone at all..but most parents are not teaching their children that having sex before marriage is wrong, most parents now days are content to let their kids do what ever they want, the kids run the house, the kids tell the parents what they will and will not do...the kids need to learn that they do not need to be having sex at 13,14, 15, etc they need to enjoy being a child..that they will grow up fast enough and once your childhood is gone there is no getting it back.

parents aren't talking to there kids. tv and magazines are the true world to these young adults. talk about sex at an early age. get down and dirty. they certainly are hearing it from there friends and thats who they are sleeping with. they need to hear the good and the bad about sex. the dos and the hell nos about it. we can't be scared to tell them what a boy wants all the time and what a girl wants.
