She can be impregnated by more than one male dog. Since dogs have multiple puppies in a litter this means that when they ovulate they produce more than one egg. Each egg must be fertilized by a single sperm before a puppy will begin to develop and grow. The sperm can be from different donors making it possible for the puppies to have more than one father. In other words, the litter can consist of half-brothers and sisters.

No, but it does mean that you could have a possible litter. Go to the vet and get your dog checked out. Also to prevent your dog from getting out and becoming pregnant spay her. It is a small cost at your local humane society.

Um no!! The dog will only have one littler, but the pups could have different fathers. Since dogs release more than one egg at a time it is possible for different males sperm to fertilize one or two of the eggs.
