The difference between a serious and a not serious relationship is that you actually are willing to take responsibility for your partner, and that you both are capable of supporting each other- physically, emotionally, financially. You both know you're deeply in love with the other, and that this isn't just a one-time fling, and you're willing to be *commited*- that's a deeper, serious relationship.

Ask yourself- are you ready to handle all that? Is your 'guy' ready for that? He could think he is, but really he's not. You have to be careful. It's your decision, and I give you all the good luck I can for this.

I think you should ask your friend what he means by "serious" and do what you feel is right.

How do you know when you are ready? I say when you have an established career, or college, and have taken care of YOURSELF and then you can do the relationship thing. You will not believe how much the next 10 years of your life will change, it will be unbelieveable.

Right now, just date a lil and focus on getting into college :)

Fifteen is too young; emotionally, you might not be prepared to handle that kind of a relationship.
I'm almost forty now, and you could be my own kid. I can tell you when people are fifteen, their hormones are acting up real nasty. They can't help but fall easily for things that capture the heart. But don't let that control you. Your head is above your heart, and if you'll realize it, the you'll know that you've got to use your head too. Serious relationships will have to come when you are emotionally prepared to handle them.
Could you wait till you finish high school at least? Maybe past 20 years old would even be better.

from past experience, i started my relationship when i was 15, im now 18 and we are still together. We were best friends before we started going out. I still love him and everything, but if i could go back, i would have not taken us further than friendship. Because now if we breakup i could never have that exact same friendship with him. He also cheated on me, which we are trying to work through. Just think carefully about it. Do YOU want to get into a serious relationship, and are u willing to sacrifice your friendship , incase things dont work out? it's up to you. Just dont get in too deep too fast. Trust me.
good luck.

i don't think of age large difference is basically too large of a deal once you're relationship someone. besides the undeniable fact that, at the same time as one individual is 16 and the different individual is 22, it may reason conflicts using adulthood large difference. It also would no longer be healthy because each and each and every of the persons would no longer be in a position to stay their existence at that age to the completed ability, because they are both attempting to be older or youthful. Your pal's maximum ideal guess is to attend till she and the guy are older, or a minimum of till she is out of highschool, to make certain if it is going to fairly workout. i'm hoping each and everything works out!

Yes you are too young....you should be concentrating on school, sports, hobbies, family, Friendships - not romantic relationships. You have the rest of your life for those, trust me. You will only end up confused and heartbroken if you pursue it.
