By not eating, your metabolism will come to a screeching halt. You will in turn begin to lose muscle not fat! Your body MUST have food in order to maintain it's health! If you are looking to lose weight it is better to quit starving yourself and eat the right foods at the right time. Eating the right foods at the right time will make your metabolism speed up, thus causing your metabolism to burn that extra fat. Stay away from sugars and sodium, your body will only convert these into fat.

By not eating you will die in approximately 28-30 days then it won't matter. But while you are alive, you may just want to eat the right types of food and get some exercise. This seems to be the best diet on the market and it doesn't cost you an arm and a leg for some crazy pills or such. If you want to learn about safely losing weight then read some of the information here.

I would suggest talking to a nutritionist instead of doing it this way. Anorexia has a ton of problems associated with it. Not only does it deprive your body of much needed nutrients and vitamins, but it can effect your hair, skin, nails, time of the month and can lead to infertility in both men and women. Your best bet to lose weight is a sensible exercise program and eating plan. I never call it a diet. That to me means that you are depriving yourself of certain things. You don't have to do this to lose weight. I would talk to a nutritionist or school nurse and have them help you set up a well managed, well outlined plan.

Also, if it's only a few pounds you want to lose, maybe you really don't need to lose them. Maybe you are the right size, but you see yourself as overweight. Most girls right now think that you have to be a size 2 or less or they are fat. This isn't the case. The average size for girls right now is between 10 and 12. This is average. Just because the magazines say you have to be skinny, you have to weigh under 100 pounds or you are fat, doesn't mean you are.

You also have to look at your body type. If you are petite, you can weigh less without having a problem. If you are tall or bigger boned, you need to weigh more to make your body work right.

Talk to someone who can help you set up a good plan and do it the right way. It may seem like it takes longer this way, but it's the way it's supposed to work. Starving yourself isn't going to work. Good luck and remember to do things that will help you get healthy, not lead to more problems.

Well you are burning calories all the time, we even burn them when we sleep. In order to lose weight we need to burn more calories then we eat. The more exercise and healthy eating the more weight you will lose. The more cardio exercise(walking, running, bike riding, aerobics, swimming) the faster we burn. You can't not eat your body goes into starvation mode and it will hold on to your fat. You can eat fewer calories and lose. You need to fuel your body or it will start to shut down.
Stay Healthy, eat to live(healthy low fat ,whole wheat, lots of veggies and fruit, low fat dairy helps speed up weight loss along with green tea!) exercise at least 4or 5 days a week for at least 30 min.

by not eating you/'ll lose weight after a few days 3or so. But you shouldn't do that. Your body will think it is starving and when you do start to eat again you'll probably over eat and then your body will store as much fat as possible saving up for the in-case you starve it again. portion control is the best way to lose weight.

If you're doing exercise, i guess it doesn't take long... But it's not good. That just causes more pounds because when the moment comes that you are really bloody hungry, then you eat, you consume more than the usual amount of food you eat, because, YOU'RE HUNGRY, DUDE!

it can also cause anorexia...
