puppies pee a lot, as she gets older she'll be able to hold it in longer. Try to give her water at certain times of the day, and bring her outside shortly after. That way you know when she drank, and you'll know that shortly after, she'll pee. :D

Just remember that puppies are like newborn babies and don't have good bladder control and that their bladders are very small at this age, the older they get the easier it will get it all takes time. Are you crate training? That is really the best way to house break a dog. I would probably start taking the dog puppy out as soon as you think it has to go and give lots of praise for peeing outside and it will start to understand peeing outside is a good thing. Good luck.

Puppies do go frequently. Remember, their bladders are small and they are just starting to learn to "hold it". Always think of babies and toddlers when dealing with a puppy. So be prepared to let out your pup a lot at first.
Later, cut back on her water. This sounds a bit cruel, but if she's drinking so much she can't hold it, then it's best she cut back on water just a bit. Give her water in the morning when you feed her and then again at night for her dinner. Then as soon as she's done eating, remove the water. Only do this until she's trained.
Also, work on training. I'm assuming she's still going in the house. Puppies will do this for a while, so just accept that you have to clean. Don't scold her or rub her nose in her mess or hit her - that does nothing. Instead, try to catch her in the act. If you see her going, give a quick "No!" and then rush her outside. Once she finishes going, praise her endlessly. As she learns that going inside is not accepted by you - the alpha dog - and that going outside is, she will start showing signs that she has to go out (like standing by the door). But if possible, let her out a lot. For example, she eats - let her out. She's played for 10 minutes - let her out. She's rested for 20 minutes - let her out. And praise her each time she goes outside. This will help reinforce the notion of going out.
Get a crate. Typically dogs don't like going in their crates. I have two and one will still go in his crate (even at 7 months of age) if I have him in there too long (I come home for lunch, but sometimes I can't and that's when he goes). Keeping her in a crate for a while will help her learn bladder control - and it gives you some freedom so you don't have to watch her constantly.
If all of this doesn't help, then there could be a medical issue. At her age, she should be seeing the vet a fair amount anyway for vaccinations. So bring up her frequent urination issue to the vet. If she has a bladder infection or other problems, the vet should be able to tell and help treat it. But my guess is that she is just doing typical puppy behavior.
Enjoy your new pup! :-)

You should have her checked out by the vet, she may have a UTI. If this is the case she can't help it and needs medication to treat it.

It could be a house training problem or it may be submissive urination - http://www.dog-obedience-training-review.com/submissive-urination.html
