Guys with g/f......?

do you find it annoying when your girlfriend puts herself down, no matter how hard you try to make them feel good about themselves? Is it just me or does this annoy others?

btw I tell her she is pretty beautiful and perfect all the time.

I'm not a guy, but it even annoys me!! If you have a girlfriend just tell them that they are sexier when they have confidence, and you think they look perfect and could not ask for someone better to be with. Sometimes I get self conscious because my boyfriend rarely tells me I look good except when I make certain comments, maybe she just wants you to compliment her? If you already do, she is probably just lacking self confidence and there isn't much you can do about it if you already tell her all the time

I am sure this is hard for guys to deal with but one must understand the way in which our culture idolizes the human body. Women in the media are idolized if they are plastic and super thin and everything is airbrushed to make them look perfect. There are so many men who are idolized and are not perfect looking or in shape yet women still love them. Women have higher standards to live up to and much more competition. Especially when it comes to competing over men who have a tendancy to act like dogs and go for the superficial stuff that makes your girlfriend put herself down in the first place.

I am not a guy. Some girls have low self esteem and put themselves down because it is in their nature. Sometimes girls say what they are thinking about themselves out loud and many people find it annoying

Im a girl and i dont do that but only because my boyfriend makes me feel beautiful on a regular basis.

You need to tell your girlfriend shes beautiful or gorgeous or whatever the heck you wanna say without her putting herself down first, that'll prevent her frm thinking theres something wrong.

us women, we need to feel pretty you know.
Sometimes we just gotta kinda ask for it.


i tell you what though, i absoloutly love it when i first wake up andi know i look bad and i roll over and my boyfriend whispers, "hey beautiful"

In concept, it sounds beautiful. interior the best it wreaks havoc on the relationship. As a guy, getting some added unusual may be efficient, yet having yet another guy violate your spouse may make me insane. Afterwards, you often question what you probably did. I surely have in basic terms prevented all of it collectively. Like i choose extra misery in my existence.

I'm a girl with a husband, but hopefully I can answer your question to. I HATE IT WHEN GIRLS DO THAT!!! Low self esteem, or they just want you to keep telling them how good they look. It's annoying to everybody.

DEFINITELY. I'm a girl and I can't stand it, and you know what it really is? Of course they don't think they're fat or ugly or whatever else they say about themselves.....they're fishing for compliments because they know that if they say "i'm so fat" you'll say "No your not" or "your beautiful" or whatever. It's to make themselves feel better.
