Pretty much true. But the real reason is they think the prettier girl will be stuck on herself or snobbish, more than getting rejected. Less pretty girls are hungrier for attention.

This question has duality. What is gorgeous? I personally like the women who conceas her beauty, rather than to flaunt it publicly, she is self assured and dont need society's approval. She is like a hidden treasure, waiting for the right man to find her, then she unveils herself before him......and the rest is unwriten history. You can see someone that is gorgeous, they have respect for their body, and not afriad to be friendly and open. dont be beaufitul, be original. Some guys are intimidated, some guys are just not ready for the empty conversations, or the superficialty that may ensue. Never know.
