Although I am christian, I have enough knowlede to try to work with your question.

Assume, for a moment, you are Allah (sorry, muslims, I'm just trying to explain this to him in a way that should work). If one of your loyalists are willing to die in your service, would you not be inclined to grant them paradise? Suicide isn't what gets them into heaven. It's the ability to willingly die for the Islamic cause. These people who blow themselves up in the streets in protests are not true muslims. They have perverted the religion to their own sick cause. Please don't get them confused with the real muslims. Real muslims are peaceful and kind.

Suicide is totally forbiden in Islam.

I guess if you're referring to the attacks that some fighters do as "suicide" missions, I guess that's a controvercial issue in which I'm not sure about. If you look at war, people go on dangerous missions all of the time, it's part of war. But executing an attack in which you know for sure that you're going to die, God knows best if that's allowed. I think they believe that it's a valid way to fight back, and that they are martyrs for fighting as God's soldiers against the evil-doers.

This is only my opinon, I'm not an Islamic scholar. I'm sure somebody with more knowledge would have a better answer.

I see that some of the answers disagree with you, so I'll chime in with you and ask: The 9/11 terrorists killed themselves too. Why? Did they not feel they were doing the right thing and would be rewarded for it? We read of suicide car bombs very often. Since when is suicide a good thing? What/Who-ever a person believes in (religion) does their god approve of, and like it when a person commits suicide? Suicide that's reeks havoc, kills people -including innocent people, creates mass destruction. Is this sort of action a proper and good thing? It isn't in Christianity and I don't feel any religion should teach that it is...

Very interesting question. I used to ask your self at how preachers may shout out fireplace and brimstone from their pulpits on Sunday morning, yet one element it quite is not in any respect said at a funeral is that the deceased is likely rotting away in hell. that's continuously an same element, they are in a extra effective position now. Heaven and hell, as being preached in mainstream Christianity, is a pretend doctrine, instantly from the mouth of devil in the previous interior the backyard of Eden even as he informed Adam and Eve that they could quite not die for disobeying God. He presented forth the conception of the immortality of the soul and in basic terms about each faith accessible interior the international preaches it. Ever ask your self why the Christian concept of heaven and hell are corresponding to Greek and Roman mythological perspectives? Elyssian Fields and Hades, for example? that's because the Roman Catholic Church presented interior the paganistic recommendations from Babylon. They actually have purgatory and limbo. The Bible teaches that God on my own is immortal. we are not immortal. once we die, we in basic terms die. our bodies get buried and we ultimately turn back to dirt. Our spirit, or breath of existence, is going back to God who gave it to us. there'll be an appointed time even as Jesus will go back and we may be resurrected, both into everlasting existence, or into judgment and intensely last annhilation interior the lake of fireplace.
