I did go through AF Basic in 2003, and the hardest thing for most people was the mind games. For me it was not laughing when someone else was getting chewed. Basic wasn't as tough as they make it sound.
You just have to remember there is a reason for everything. Do as the TI tells you and you can't go wrong.

I cant say for the Air Force since ive never been in it. Ive been in the Army though and i would say the hardest part about basic training is the mental games. The mind games they play on you. You can prepare yourself physically, you can prepare by learning to shoot a weapon before you go in. You can prepare by running 10 miles a day before you go in. But being woken up at 2am to some guy screaming in your face, giving you insane orders that just dont make sense is enough to make you crack. But its for your own good to make you into a soldier.
To me thats pretty much the hardest part of basic-and i imagine its the same in all parts of the service.

i havent been in the air force but wanting to. i would say warrior week, week 5, would be the hardest week, but you will run the airmen's run that is only 2.5 miles, which isnt hard.

If you are in good shape then physically, its nothing.

Mentally, is another story. The TI's get into your head and try to overwhelm you. Just prepare yourself and you should be fine.
