If you are interested in using a natural product that contains essential oils you can make your own or purchase a formula specially made for scars. Pure Lavender essential oil can be used directly on a wound, but it's better applied to reduce or prevent infection and to encourage the skin to close nicely. Other oils are better used when there is a wound that is still 'healing' and you want to reduce the appearance of a scar. During this stage you are most likely to have success encouraging the skin to heal as well as it can. Calendula, Elemi, Spikenard, Rose, Helichrysum...the list goes on. Please use caution and educate yourself about using essential oils on the skin. Sunrose ointment was formulated to reduce the scars from a case of chicken pox. Initially made for family and friends, it is now sold at eoils.net

Vitamin E oil or cream can be applied to the skin in the affected areas, every day . The cream should be applied overnight. Taking Vitamin E capsules also helps to reduce the scars or stretch marks. Some people break the capsules and apply the oil directly on the scars or stretch marks. You can find more cheap and natural remedies for stretch marks at http://arzi.org/

Get some sun. I have really bad stretch marks from weight training some of them 6 inches long, and they faded a bit when I got a little darker.
