No, you are not. What you think is also held as truth to some degree by Scientologists and Mormons. Mormons believe we are spirit babies who were sent to earth to inhabit and grow toward being gods of their own planets.

If 'God' is a non-human being, why does that mean He's from another planet? I think it's possible that an advanced culture lives beneath the Earth's surface. They created man to labor on the surface, which is their 'industrial center' and to be pharmacuetical cattle. They seem to have a great interest in extracting unknown compounds from some of us on a regular basis. The theory I hold to is that the Deep Dwellers descended from dinosaurs who adapted to subterranean living. They developed genetic manipulation and created man, the grey, and the great variety of other beings. Regardless of whether any of this makes any sense, you are correct that they, whoever they really are, have had a direct hand in our development. The grey's mind powers over us are just too powerful to be a random process from an entirely seperate bio-sphere.

You're not alone. There are others. There was a small group who committed suicide and were expecting to be picked up by a space ship...or something like that. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heaven's_Gate_(cult)
