Now already it can be considered a cult: you have a central figure in it (the DJ, MC); you have various means of changing the state of mind (often use of drugs, loud, low pitched repeating sounds); ceremony (dancing, light effects) and all for the sake of feeling the spirit of unity and worshiping (where worshiping would be directed to technocraty and, in a way, science - the drugs are often synthetic, the sound and the light are very often electronic and, partially, mechanic, the central figure acts as a contact between the worshipers and their goal). Since all of this (a central figure, changing the state of mind and ceremony) can be found, with the exact same purpose, in many early, and even contemporary cults, and since we know that a cult can develope into a religion, or become a part of some religion, do you think this could happen to techno (culture)? Also, would you agree that right now, it is a cult?

technological information and faith are the two tries by using the human strategies to make experience of the universe that we see till now us. even however, because of the fact the human strategies isn't a thoroughly logical factor, that's in hazard of making blunders and deluding itself. using this that's feasible to be certain kinds in issues the place they do no longer exist (bypass stare at some clouds working example) and for us to trick ourselves into questioning we've chanced on an answer to our questions that satisfies our interest in a manner that seems stylish and profound - yet in fact isn't actual, and we merely have not theory issues by using intimately. that's the place faith is available in. over the years religions have grown to grant solutions to the questions we've - eg. why are we here? what occurs while we die? yet those teachings are actually not based purpose, careful inquiry of the information and information, yet on dogmatic concepts and holy books that are held to be infallible and unquestionable. technological information is an attempt to accomplish an purpose inquiry into how issues are and grant solutions to our questions. We steadily refine our questioning approximately those issues over the years to get rid of the circumstances the place we are able to trick ourselves. the adaptation between technological information and faith is that technological information factors solutions that are actual - for information, merely look on the moon landings, or the pc in front of you top now. So i do no longer see that it incredibly is feasible to blend technological information and faith - they are inherently incompatible. technological information is an attempt to objectively learn information, faith is a dogmatic equipment that preaches absolutes. the belief of a faith in accordance with technological information is a contradiction in words.
