people give people really stupid answers (not just online) when they ask about Christ. They put answers down and they don't have a clue what they're talking about and they don't have any experience of being a christian, why can't they at least be respectful and answer nicely or don't answer at all!! I wanna know what you think!

People who don't believe may act that way but it's no different then the comments I have seen come from those who are claiming to be "Christians" out here.

I have to wonder about that if they taking the name of "Christianity" in vain and are out here to cause trouble.I am just speaking the truth as I have seen it out here. Because I don't see the fruit in those people. Jesus said you will know them by their fruits.

Another thing is how Christianity is defined? The bible defines a christian by being a "True Follower of Christ". The bible is not talking about a "religion" but following after God. Having a heart for God.

If Christians don't get use to the idea that it's because it's for the sake of Christ that we aren't treated well then they better find another occupation in life because that's what the bible says will happen once they claim Jesus as their lord and saviour.

Jesus never said it would be a rose garden or a picnic because his life was neither. If someone says an unkind word think about the abuse that Christ took at the cross for all of our Sins.

There will be a lot of animosity towards us because not every one will accept Jesus and not every one will agree with Christians. That's why there is the "Full armour of God" for believers because God knew it would come in handy for those who truly are Christians.

Most Christians who are Christian know what the "Full Armour of God" is and if they don't know then what planet are they living on?

My life became difficult for me as a child since day one when I had accepted Christ into my heart and I couldn't understand why? As an adult I came into the understanding that once Jesus was hated so would I too be hated for his name sake.

My hope is in Christ because it's Jesus that has gotten me through all these years even when I was not walking with him from time to time. He is my rock and my fortress.

I'm sorry that you haven't really met any nice Christians. If you were asking around the Christmas season then that would explain it since almost no one is in a good mood. Sheesh, it's amazing how rude some people can be, but don't lose faith, there are some nice people out there!

I've been Catholic for eleven years now and so if you have any questions, you can ask. I promise I'm nice and respectful and I do know what I'm talking about.

Good luck!

Well, it sounds to me like you must be a Christian. As am i. i have noticed what you talk about here and my answer is this: it is the devil working through people to try to tear down Christ. The devil has been doing that for a long time. And i have found that he is very good at working through people to irritate me...even Christians who do not guard their tongues. Those are even worse than the ones who have NO knowledge of God. It amazes me when i read some of the responses on here about "God doesn't exist" and such. i wonder how people can look around themselves at the sunrise or the sunset, the changing seasons, the wonder of science and the miracle of birth and life and still not believe there is God. My conclusion is that they are so self centered, they are not actually looking around themselves yet. Best wishes.

So typical of a christian- you have to impose conditions on peoples freedom to answer your question. Jyst take a deep breathm float back dwon to earth with the rest of us mortals and consider that ne mans plain talking is another mans rudeness...
I the act of choosing a religion is a bit of a nonsense, but that's not to say I don;t think that what people are saertching for is worthwhile or fruitful. Consider the aborgines, for 60,000 years they lived in Australia peacefully until (possibly christian) people came. Did Christ go and talk to them? accrding to the bible they didnt exist becuse the bible doesn;t go back that far...wake up

Jesus warned us that the world would start hating us because we believe in Him. Without the Christians who died to protect the freedom of people who hate Christians, those ant-Christians wouldn't have the freedom to say they hate us. If you don't believe me, go to any military cemetery in the US and look at all the crosses on the tombstones. Some people seem to hate the people who did the most for them, and that's why they hate Christians.

I was a christian until about 8 years ago so I know about christianity. And I'm never rude to anyone unless I perceive them being rude to me or asking obnoxious questions.

HI AJ,
I really don't know. I sometimes become aggravated by the tone of the questions also. I had hoped that those asking questions would actually ask questions of a spiritual nature. Many of these questions are really not even serious. I would gladly answer any question that you have. My email address is posted... Send me a note.

I agree. I think, though, that it is not so much "rudeness", but ignorance. Ignorance, in my opinion, is worse than rudeness, though. If you are going to ask a question or answer a question that puts a certain group down and you use the wrong information or make things up, you pretty much just make yourself look really stupid, so I don't understadn why people do it at all

Like Jesus said, "Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil." (John 3:19) It's simple, people get angry when the light exposes the darkness within them. Therefore, the only way they know how to cope with it is to be rude and feel the need to offend.

You can't herd cats.
Humans were gifted with free will - and use it if they know anything or not. Like me, I know nothing, but I try to help as best I can, when I can.
Please don't let these unherded cats affect your own peace.
Be content that you are helping people, and are making a difference. (Also remember that GOD knows who is helping and who is not, so everyone will have a final judgement of their actions.)
Peace!
