Roman Catholic. It more closely follows Christian doctrine. Mormons have their book, the book of Mormon that is not divine or spiritual in origin.

Roman Catholic. The Mormon religion believes that Jesus was a prophet and therefore not the Holy Trinity, so therefore they do not fall under the Christian religions.
As to what a few people have said about the Roman Catholic Church. It IS the first church, the original church that was created by Jesus and his Apostles. This is known because Jesus gave the power to St. Peter (when he said "upon you I will build my church"). The church St. Peter created is the Catholic Church, our foundation and core are still the same as it was at the beginning and will never change.
To the guy about the instruments: It is GOD who demands instruments and song be played and sung in his honor, not one or the other. We are told to play and sing from our hearts to the Lord, again, not preventing the use of instruments.
As for the idols and graven images: We bow and kneel in veneration (as one would do to a King), we do not worship for we know God is the only God, but Mary and all the Angels and Saints do have a special place in heaven. The graven images, if that were true, then pictures of our family are against God's law and we're all breaking that commandment.
So yeah, CATHOLICS ARE CHRISTIANS

Jesus founded the Roman Catholic Church when he said, "Thou art Peter and on this Rock I will build my Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." Catholics profess faith in Jesus as the Son of God. They have always been the first Christians. And the last Christians. Mormons are arrogant and boastful if they say they are Christians and Catholics are not. They are basically founded by Masonic principles which are contrary to true Christian beliefs. A true Christian is a person who follows Christ , his teachings, and the Church he founded.

This is a stupid question. It's like saying "Which is more a dog....a golden retreiver or a great dane.....You MUST Choose one!"
They're BOTH DOGS and they're BOTH CHRISTIAN!
Some people try to define Christianity so narrowly that it includes them and their group while excluding millions of other self-proclaimed christians. I might say that "you're only christian if you believe in a Jesus Christ that had Blue eyes". So does that mean that every other christian in the world that has no opinion on the matter is no longer a christian because of my crappy definition?
Mormons and Catholics are a subset within Christianity. While many of their views differ drastically, both believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and their savior.

The official name of the Mormon Church is "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints" ---I am currently a member of the Church.
I was raised as Roman Catholic.
Both believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He was crucified for the sins of the world...which is true.
One of the main differences between the 2 churches is this:
The Roman Catholics believe that the authority of the Priesthood has continued unbroken through Peter.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons) believe that the Priesthood Authority was lost (after Christ was crucified and apostles killed) this is called "The Great Apostasy" ...and since it was lost...it had to be "restored"...and it has been... in these latter days through the prophet Joseph Smith.
The way that I know which is true is through God showing me...through His power...direct revelation....and He has shown me that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the only true and living church upon the face of the whole earth....and because God showed me...that is the reason I joined His Church.

Catholicism. From what I understand, if you are not Mormon, you cannot enter the "temple". Catholics are not like that. All are welcomed as Jesus would not turn anyone away based on something as frivolous as that. I also once heard that the Mormon's "book" taught that all non-whites would go to hell just based on their race. Supposedly it's been removed, but it was once a wide-spread belief.

Roman Catholic. Mormons do not think Jesus is God. Catholics know he is. And besides that where do you get off even asking a question like this as the Catholic Church was the first Christian Church and you or anybody would not be a Christian at all if it wasn't for the Catholic Church and all of it's martyrs dieing for the Faith that so many people put down like they are so much better than them. They will have to apologize to many people when they get to Heaven.

Obviously Roman Catholic because they have been a part of Christianity form its very beginning, even before the Great Schism when it was called "catholic"
Did you know that good Mormons after they die receive their own universe in which to be Gods? I'm serious!
