The great denial. It's a guy's worst nightmare, to have a girl refuse him. It's probably ranked up there with failing to do a pushup, or some sort. If a girl says no to a guy, it's practically an insult (or so most guys believe.) The guys think, after being told no, that they're worthless, that they aren't good enough for even a single girl. It's not pleasant, and nobody wants to go through it... which is why we're 'afraid.'
Personally, to get a girl to like me, I treat her a little bit better then I treat everyone else. Show her that I think she's special to me.

I'm afraid to ask girls out because most of the girls in my school are b****** and will tell everyone how "desperate" I am and I will be riduculed for most likely the next month. To get a girl to notice me I just flirt with them and I am kind torwards them.

You bring them something like flowers and gifts. Some guys are afraid to ask out girls because they just feel shy. If you want that girl to notice you, start being friends with her. Just asked her out! C'mon, everyone is giving you the confidence.!!! You can do it!

just look over in his direction and that will build his confidence, and just smile at him (FLIRT). and yes guys are afraid of asking a girl out if there is a chance he will get turned down

Afraid 'cuz girls think they r too good to go out with me...
No I am really good looking guy thats what they told me...i dont do anything diff...just being myself to get her notice.

well the reason that some guys are afraid of asking girls is mainly because they are afraid of rejection.....if they ask a girl they really like out and she says no its a total blow to their selfesteem.....however, the fear of rejection is not only limited to guys but also to girls.

most of us dont want to be rejected, and then made fun of. small talk helps, i think, at least in our school. then the talk leads to bigger talk, and asking to dances helps, then you just ask them out. the more interaction the better the chance. but i think we afraid of rejection the most.

Because their shy or low self esteem. I only act myself. To act other than myself will backfire in the end. Kindness and good humor work for me.
