You cannot spot lose-doing a bunch of crunches or situps will build muscle but in order to lose the fat must do aerobic activity for 1 to 11/2hr-walk ,jog,dance.swim,and so on.Weight training burns very few calories and muscle will burn fat but realistically will take long time if you depend on it and do not do aerobic. Cut out sugar-use sugar substitiutes and drink Diet,fat free and so on.Also must drink Water for it is essential for weight loss 7-8glasses each day,can be 0 calorie flavored water.Diet should be Protein,good carbs-vegetables,grains and some fat(fat derived from vegetable source but( no animal source-bad fat)Your body must have some fat to be healthy.If you have a sweet tooth switch to sugar free candy-the kind I eat is 3pieces only 15calories esp love the butterscotch.Good Luck

Low fat diet, cardio exercise at least 4 or 5 days a week and weights 2 or 3 times a week.

Nothing is going to make it go away fast! Sorry to tell you. The first step is stop eating anything with sugar...like candy, breads, any pastas and stuff like that. You can do all the crunches and sit ups you want but it is a waste of time. Cardo is where its at. Walk at a fast pace for a half hour three to four times a week then step it up to running for a half hour. Hope that helps

I have found that ...if you have something to hang upside down from....like the monkey bars at a playground....and pull yourself up,to touch your knees with your nose or elbows..and keepdoing this until you feel a burn in your abs....can help quickly,plus keeps you from rubbing your backbone on a hard surface.,and you can support your neck with your hands behind it,with out feeling all scrunched uplike you do when doing crunches.

Cardio!

Sit ups and that won't get rid of it... it will just tone it up but make it more or less the same size

so cardio and dieting.
