Sometimes people have different reactions to the ingredients in different toothpastes/rinses. If it is burning your mouth then stop using it. Ask your dentist about a different option for your tooth sensitivity. (I'm assuming that you're using that for that reason.) We prescribe a high fluoride toothpaste called Prevident toothpaste that helps decrease tooth sensitivity. But stop using it if it burns. Unlike Listerine, it doesn't contain alcohol so it shouldn't have that same burn.
