I'll say a special prayer with Saint Cajetan of Thiene tonight for you. Keep your chin up, keep smiling, and keep the love and prayers flowing and all will be better soon.

God bless,
=)

And I know sometimes the beast just wants you to look some what like him so he uses the thing that looks like you the most your own reflection the very DNA that created you if you could clean your house what would you do first dust the cobs webs away so you could see you know your mom loves you the devil has many tools its time to tuffin up that hide and become fearless. think of your mind as needing a spring cleaning let go of everything that causes your stress call it vacuuming, then dust do your dishes and your dirty laundry you are the one who knows you best. Work it out, and heres a protection spell to keep the monkey off your back. Psalm 98 Oh sing to the Lord a new song For he has done marvelous things His right hand and his holy arm have gained Him the victory The Lord has made known His salvation His righteousness He has revealed in the sight of the nations He has remembered His mercy and His faithfulness to the house of Israel All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God

Your mother must have some unresolved personal issues that are causing her hostility toward you. She may be jealous of you and your accomplishments as compared to her own. She must have some dreams that she has never fulfilled. Usually the best counteraction to bad emotions, are good ones. Don't give her back what she gives to you! It creates a vicious cycle! Sometimes, we are more mature than our own parents, and it sounds like you just might be more so than your mom. Hostility is generated by resentment of some sort, so you could counteract her hostile feelings with giving her more understanding. Try to zero in on what her problem really is, because it's something more personal than just you! These feelings are always from our own inner selves, so see if you can figure out what is truly upsetting her. You don't mention your father, could it be something to do with that? She feels a lack of some sort. Something is missing for her. I hope she is healthy. People who are not well, can manifest in strange ways. Make sure she's o.k. I have much personal experience as my mother is well-meaning but her life did not turn out as good as mine, and it bothers her. She lives closer to my sister, who gets more of this bad treatment than I do, and my sister is really tired of always being blamed by our mother for things she didn't do or couldn't have caused, that happen in my mother's life. They want to blame someone so they target you, as the being the reason for their unhappiness. Your best defence is to give your mother some advice and encouragement. Sometimes, we become the parents to our own parents as time goes on. You'll have to be the wiser one here and do your best to see she has problems and she must find better solutions than conflicting with you! She'll never get happy doing that! Keep positive and help her to find her happiness as you know her quite well. Really sit down and see her as her own individual and not just your mother. She is also a human being and has somehow forgotten that she is not continuing to develop as a very good one. She must have given up on herself somehow. She could use your positive encouragement to help her find some answers for herself! Parents can feel left behind. Perhaps you have a future, and she doesn't think she has one. Help her to see that she has much in her own life to be thankful for and to enjoy!

Shlane, I have no education to give you comfort, but I pray you to reach your goals, which will lead to a better future/career. (Education is very important, as you know.)
Many people here, as you know, will be able to help you. Maybe a nice weekend spa, relax and recharge - before going back to hitting those books? Sorry I can't help.

There is a prayer to the Shoulder Wound of Christ.

Jesus told St. Bernard that He had on His shoulder a very grievous wound, while He bore His Cross on the way of Sorrows, which was more painful than the others and which was not recorded by men. He said, "Honor this wound with thy devotion and I will grant thee whatsoever thou ask through its virtue and merit. And in regard to all those who shall venerate this Wound, I will remit to them all their venial sins and will no longer remember their mortal sins.

The Prayer

O loving Jesus, meek Lamb of God, I, a miserable sinner, salute and worship the most Sacred Wound of Thy Shoulder on which Thou didst bear Thy heavy Cross, which so tore Thy Flesh and laid bare Thy Bones as to inflict on Thee an anguish greater than any other Wound of Thy Most Blessed Body. I adore Thee, O Jesus Most Sorrowful, I praise and glorify Thee, and give Thee Thanks for this most sacred and painful Wound; beseeching Thee by that exceeding pain, and by the crushing burden of Thy heavy Cross to be merciful to me, a sinner, to forgive me all my mortal and venial sins, and to lead me on towards heaven along the Way of Thy Cross. Amen.

Try this prayer, it could work for you. Remember what He said, "Honor this Wound with Thy devotion."
