Take it steady. About two pounds a WEEK is considered to be healthy. Don't aim for much more than that. At 14, you shouldn't be on a diet unless you are obese and then it should be monitored by your parents and doctor.

the best way to lose weight is plenty of exercise and a healthy diet this way the weight will stay of and you will feel alot better. if u you stop eating for a day you will just be twice as hungry the next day and end up eating unhealthily food and any weight lost by not eating will just come back on when you start eating again. hope this helps a bit and good luck x

Please don't fixate too much on a quick timeline....it's unhealthy. If you're losing anything more than 1/2 pound per day, there's a good chance that you're losing water and becoming dehydrated.
Do some exercises, walking or even jogging in the morning before school. Skip some of junkier snacks & sodas. All of these things add up and you'll get to where you want to be...and stay there!

any rapid weight loss is going to be mostly water for the first couple of to three weeks. you may lose a couple inches, but for long term, eating a large green salad evey day will fill you up and you can eat less meat and vegetables and pasta dishes. you will lose weight, but at a rate of only two to three pounds a week. unlike many diets, nothing special is required, just patience and the dsire to not put it back on which is prevalent for most other diets.

Your body is a machine that will basically take care of itself whether you want it to or not. If you starve yourself, your body will say "hey, next time I get some calories and fat in my stomach, it's best that I hold onto it". It will do exactly that - store fat. After fat, you can expect for your body to start turning to your muscles for energy. Honestly, there's no healthy way to lose that much weight in one week.

you need to eat, if you starve yourself for a day, you will only feel faint, tired and ill due to hunger.
eat 3 square meals a day, rather than chocolate, snack on fruit, drink plenty of water rather than fizzy drinks.
exercises...swimming, a little jog, sit ups, anything that brings you out in a sweat is good for you.
At 14, you need to eat, diets are not all about starving yourself.

Healthy wt loss is 1-2 lbs per week for the most part. Anything more will probably be just fluid loss not actual wt loss. Also, if you are not working out or adjusting your diet, it probably is not wt loss. good luck!

can't be done. plan on losing about a pound a week.
Try to remember - you didn't add 2 inches of fat in a week, you can't lose it in that much time.
