We need to define "war." If you are talking about "Congress declared war," I don't believe we have lost any. If you include "Police actions," then there is no win or lose. If you are talking battles, then we have lost our share of battles.

Here is a list of wars from memory:
Revolutionary (1776-1784?)
War of 1812 (1812-1814)
War w/Mexico (around 1850)
Civil War (1861-1865)
Spanish War (not sure of date)
WW I (1917-1919)
WW II (1940-1945)
There was several "Indian Wars."

The Korean War and the Viet Nam War were considered "police actions." Places like Somalia, Bosnia, Grenada, and Panama, I assume were also "Police Actions."
