Good question...how do you make a car go on water????
Do you make it a steam car??, how do you heat the water to make steam? do you use petroleum to do this?

Did you know one of the "Greenhouse Gases" everyone is worried about is WATER VAPOR?

I think you should think this out a little bit.

even though this is not an insurance question:
how large would the engine have to be in order for this to work? to make one large enough to be able to hold & convert the water to steam, would defeat the porpose of making it in the begining. It would be so large & heavy, not to mention noisy, that the even though cheaper water fuel, would cost more than gas due to the frequency of fill ups. I guess it is a nice thought, but not really practical.

Because it takes energy to free the hydrogen from the water. There are no pools of pure hydrogen on the Earth to mine.
