Because they're selfish!! They think that they can take their organs to hell when they die!

Hello! friend... who said all human beings are not willing to donate their organs? Some selfish and superstitious fellows are not willing because, they had a belief that they will go to hell if they are buried without some organs. But some people think that even though they are not in the world, they can feel the presence of the world, through their organs which are donated to others. So everybody should donate their any organ to others.

First it is their personal wish and choice.
Many people donate their eyes and some donate their different organs also.
Many people are afraid, that if others know that their organs are going to be donated they may be 'killed' accidently.
Their greedy relatives may kill them just to get their kidney or other organs.
They may be declared 'dead' by some corrupt doctor and their organs may be taken, even when they are not dead.
The other reason could be that the method in which the organs are removed from the dead body is gruesome. The relatives cannot bear to see it.
Unless and untill there are proper rules and regulations for donation of organs , people will be afraid to donate them.

I don't know but that is exactly what we need. These people are depriving other of life. What if it was the other way around and they needed the organ? Now they would have wished that the other donated it. They can give life and donate organs on death but they would rather take them to the grave than help someone else live.

Well, with my body and health conditions, I would not be able to. I have many different conditions that affect my own organs and weaken them and would not want to donate a weak one to someone. Also, with many types of organs, it is needing to be of the same blood type, similar size, and many other conditions. Often times, there are many organs available but do not fit the conditions needed.
But I do think many people should be donating when they have died (putting it in their will). It would be great for the ones in need. I hope this is of some help for you

Its a good question and I think it should be addressed more in society. Mostly I think people are scared. Some dont like the feeling of being declared dead when it may not be true and getting their organs taken out so they dont have a chance to come back anyway. Medicine has gotten so far advanced that we could reuse the human body with so many people...imagine one person dying yet that gives 5 other people a chance at life. Its a great thought.

some of us believe in the sanctity of the entire human body and DETEST this cannnabalizing of our mortal remains to satisfy others' needs. We wish to be buried as complete as possible. We owe no one anything from our bodies. Our bodies are not a flea market for others to steal from. IN my life I did not ask or search for a donor or any organ - and now I wish to be left alone in peace in the sacred tents of my religion & be buried as I am and will be.

I made my living will and I stated in the firsst line : that I FORBID any medical facility treating me to perform any organ donation, without exception.

what these people want is for this to become some civic duty, or done by compulsion, which I DETEST. Rather than whine about those who refuse to donate, - go demand stem-cell therapy to grow new teeth, new hearts ,new eyes, new everything. Now that's Progress!!!! And it's time has come & is long overdue !!!!!!

VERY GOOD QUESTION WHICH WAS IN MY MIND TOO.

Because they really don't know the result of donating their organ after death. How beautiful it will be ? How much of happiness it can bring in other's life ?

We have to make an awareness programme(shouldn't wait for GOVERNMENT to act, becoz it won't). We have to prepare a stage where in we can show the people who reborn by getting the donated organs. Their heartblowing stories will make if not everybody atleast somebody will wakeup and do the needful.

First of all, have you planned to donage your organs ?

Some people have religious beliefs that their physical body will be resurrected, and they will need all their body parts. Others who believe in "the resurrection of the body" take refuge in the Bible's verses that seem to say that they receive a totally new body.

Still others just haven't thought about it enough to agree to be a donor.

Some people don't do it for regilious reasons. Is it a good idea to do it? Of course, what are you going to do with them once you're gone. But not everyone agrees with that idea.
