welcome to the world of biblical contradiction. This is contradiction #1 of about 10,000.
-And you are correct, an omnipotent creature would negate our ability to have free will. He would have knowledge of the future and therefore none of our choices would truly be choices.

Not sure about your statement that "it is all predestined before the foundation of the world". All meaning what? If you think our day-to-day decisions are determined in advance, the answer is no. Ephesians 1:4-5 has to do with who chooses who, not whether we are marionettes on strings. Obviously man doesn't know who is written in the book of life, so we do see that aspect in different verses of the Bible. The truth is exactly what that verse says, no matter how many people try to twist it around to their own abilities rather than a God who cares enough to save his own from destruction.

Just because God is all knowing that doesn't mean he is going to muck with our free will. If you want an interpretation of Ep 1v4&5 here goes. God new ahead of time (predestinated) that He would see to it that we would learn that christ would be our savior. And with our free will we could accept christ as our savior and be with him in heaven . and that would certainly be to God's good pleasure. Get it? I just knew you would. God bless you

If we don't have freewill, then why are you here trying to convert people? How can you change anyone's mind if it is all predestined anyway (I asked this question the other day)?

God is eternal having neither beginning of days or end of life, a Spirit fire or light called life. The Word begins with thought from conscious awareness I am, acquiring wisdom to reason thought to self with the Word. The Word was with God and the Word was God. This wisdom of thought with words is not any substance or matter but Spirit, the Holy Spirit. God is One, by Himself or alone with His Words the Holy Spirit. This timeless existence of reasoning wanted company and God’s thoughts turn to creating company or sons. Sons to behold, abide with, and communion with. God discovered love, not of the thought, but of the sons He envisioned. God felt this love, the magnificence of it and wanted His sons to love Him. God realized He could not create true love or forced it upon a being, but true love would only manifest in sons of freewill. The wisdom of God also knew it would be necessary to govern sons of freewill by laws that are fair and righteous, to hold them accountable. God was willing to risk rejection and rebellion against the law. Sons of freewill could choose not to love Him but must obey the law. The sons would need a place to abide, explore, and grow. God created the heavens and the earth, His kingdom.
Those that overcame Satan's first rebellion are predestinated.

It's the difference between knowledge and necessity. For example, I know, with some degree of certaintly, that an earthquake will strike California sometime in the relatively near future. Did I cause it to happen-- no.

.Jeremiah is an interesting book how about J20-07 Oh Lord you induced me and I was persuaded You are stronger than I and have prevailed, I am in derision daily. Everyone mocks me For when i spoke I cried out. I shouted..." Violence and Plunder!" Because the word of the Lord was made to me a reproach and a derision daily Then I said I will not make mention of Him Nor speak anymore in His name But his word was in my heart like a burning fire, Shut up in my bones I was weary holding it back.. And I could not...

Because, God does not set our Hearts. Therefore we are free to accept or deny him. OUR CHOICE.
Just because you know something ahead of time doesn't mean you set it in stone. Its not God's fault he can read the future. He didn't make our choices for us, if he did, we wouldn't have free will, and we'd all end up with great lives but no free will.
However, we can make our own mistakes and do what we want, and just because he knows ahead of time doesn't mean he likes the answer. The choices were ours, NOT HIS.

no.
He predestined us to be saved. He wants us to be saved. He gave Jesus so we could be saved.
Our freewill determines whether we follow God's plan or our own.
Read. The. Context. (that's such a cliche, sorry, but do it.)

FREEWILL IS YOU LIVING IN YOUR WORD AND ARE NOT LIVING IN THE WORD OF GOD AT ALL,FOR YOU ARE LIVING IN YOUR OWN LITTLE WORLD
