I don't think so. I think that it is a trendy brand. It used to be a fairly regional bear, but now is all over the place. My first run in with it was about 11 years ago in Tampa and it was pretty much a poor
mans bud. A few cheap brands have had a bit of a rebirth thanks to clever marketing ( i.e. Pabst Blue Ribbon)
Of course this is a matter of opinion , but the best domestic pilsners, ales, and lagers are from Sam Adams. However the best all around beers are from Belgium and Germany.

Gotta agree with Mike R. Not my favorite (that would be Magic Hat #9), but it's pretty good for $18-$20...

my boyfriend loves it and he doesnt really like beer that much so it must be pretty good...i think its a dark beer
