Follow what your heart is telling you, seldom is it wrong. If you feel you could do more - you can!

The Purpose of Life

If life is a value to you, life is the purpose itself. For those who know what makes them happy, the purpose is clear. To live means to live for your own happiness, in spite of all the possible setbacks. You are the only person who can know what you enjoy most and how to obtain it. So, the real question you must ask yourself is what YOU want out of life.

It's not your "heart" that can tell you what you want out of life. The heart is an organ for pumping blood. It's your mind. Sometime people say "heart" to mean emotions, but emotions come from the concepts of your mind. If, for example, you were taught that life is not of great value because the afterlife is all that matter, it will be hard to feel an emotion of pleasure for anything important that belongs to this life.

If, on the other hand, you were taught to seek to do the things you are naturally good at, be productive and creative in what you enjoy most in life, you will soon find the answer that leads you to great happiness and purpose. What you are naturally good has to be discovered. You might be good at pursuing cultural things, foreign languages, scientific subjects, music, dancing, baking, traveling, fashion, business, whatever it might be, it doesn’t matter what, as long as it is a PRODUCTIVE endeavor. This is important because if you think you like only unproductive or destructive activities you will never find happiness. Happiness is achievable only by living morally, that is, productively.

Good luck in your search!

What you are meant to do is exactly what you will do.

This may sound nuts but if a God is all knowing then every moment of our lives would've been known from the begining. So everything that we will do, everythng we will think and choose would've been known before we were ever born.

Imagine that one!
Do you really want to think there is an all knowing God?
Kinda wipes out freewill!

I hope I helped in some way.

Having a relationship with God has opened my understanding of what my purpose is and what I'm supposed to do, although I sometimes get preoccupied with other things in life that distract me from my purpose.

Spend time in the Word of God and in prayer. Allow God to speak to you about what your purpose on earth is.
Most Christians purpose is to preach the Gospel to as many people as possible.

Try to do the best to find God's will for your life. Once you make your choice, then the most important thing is being the best witness you can be while living out that choice.

The Bible sets before us (the prospect of eternal life in
perfection) if we put faith in Jehovah's provisions for life
and walk in his ways. That hope is solidly based;it will not
lead to disappointment;activity in harmony with that hope
can fill our lives with real meaning even now.-(John.3:16)
(Titus.1:2; )(1Peter.2:6)

We know our purpose from Scripture. To glorify God by accepting his son and living life for him by preaching, teaching, and baptizing in his name. (Mt 28:19)
