I have been with my girlfriend for quite some time now and I finally got up the nerve to purchase her some lingerie and pajamas for Valentine's Day. It is my hope she will them that night. Should I wash them now before I give them to her? And will the lack of tags scare her?

I guess now that you mention it it would not be a bad idea to wash them just keep the tags and let her know you washed them for her so she could wear them that night. You are very observant and i`m sure you thought of this because of thing you too talk about from day to day.

If you want her to wear the lingerie/pajamas that night. I'm sure you would have to hand wash it with ZERO. After will have to rinse and be wrung out gently. I usually roll it gently in a towel and let hang to dry. Or you can just read the label inside for instructions. I don't think the lack tags will scare her. Just explain you washed them for tonight. I don't forsee concerns. Anyways, I hope this was helpful?

If you guys have been together for a long time I would definitely go ahead and wash them.....if you aren't sure she'll be 100% comfortable wearing this lingerie or like it, then keep the tags on it but rip off the price part....if you can, regardless if you wash it or not, place it in a nice box or bag so she can open it....it'll be more fun that way!

aaawww - that is so sweet - I though, would think they are used if you wash them first - - it is a great idea, but - think about it - she will think someone else had them on - if they are still folded and in the box - (or whatever) - she will know that you thought of only her - - BTW -- you r wonderful - - she should be VERY proud!

Um-well if you got it like at the goodwill then definitely wash it. But if its new (never been worn) then it should be okay. Washing might make them look worn.

why would you wash them before?? that would be a little weird if my bf did that...it would make me think someone wore them before....
