Is your immune system down? Another writer speaks of "Candida," which is also known as "Thrush." It can also be a vaginal condition. While the doc can give you stuff, I've found that keeping a piece of garlic in my mouth like chewing tabacco, and getting some Oregano Oil drops for a mouthwash and capsules to take (Tastes terrible!) worked for me. It can be from poor dental care, too. If it gets worse, it can be a problem for the lungs.
See an doc, though, for it can also be Leukoplakia, is while not cancer, can precede it. Eating a lot of garlic (Put it like little potatos in your soups & stuff to taste alright) is also very anti-fungal. If you have a red splotchy rash on your body days after eating grains type products (Everywhere), check out Celiac's Disease, which lowers immunity, a food allergy.

It may just be a fever blister. I used to get these when I started to get sick. You can even get a little sore spot if you bit your tongue or if you chew the side of your tongue in your sleep, you never know. It could be a number of things, even drinking something that was too hot can do it. Keep an eye on it for a few days and if it doesn't go away or start to get better, go to the doc.

Sounds like canchor sores. They are tiny white/ yellow blisters on the tongue and inside the lips. They are very painful and irritating especially if you eat things that are high in acidity or salt. You should go to your Dr for a prescription that is usually a mouth wash. It should clear up in 5-7days after starting the medicine.
As to what caused it, there are several reasons. The most common is eating too many foods high in salt or acid such as tomatoes or lemons.
Good Luck!

There are several things these could be including the oral version of candida - see your GP for a definitive answer and do not believe anyone who 'tells' you what these are without seeing them or taking a medical history :)

DIET!!!!! Look at what you are eating or not eating. Water does help to cure everything becaus it helps to clear out your system.
You could be a bit run down , eat well and see if it clears up.

It could be thrush, canker sores, strep throat, or something else. Sounds like you need to make a trip to your doctor to find out.
