Many people believe he did. If he wasn't divine, as all sane people believe, he certainly knew young women, older ladies, married women etc. Mary Magdalene is the name of Mary Mygdal, dove priestess of the ancient cults of Jerusalem, whose adherents were sexual freer than Israel's puritans were. If Jesus planned to claim the Hasmonean kingdom of the Jews--that's what the entry into the city on a donkey and the palm leaves were all about--then he would have had to be married to her to make that claim.
Enough said.
See some of the minority reports on the subject, that said he survived, married, etc. Food for thought anyhow.

Although the Bible appears to suggest that Jesus did not have a lady in his life, books and films such as The Da Vinci Code; Holy Blood Holy Grail, etc. are suggesting that perhaps he did - that maybe it was Mary Magdalene and that maybe he even had children and that the Holy Grail was in fact Jesus bloodline.
Until historians and archaeologists can find some concrete proof either way all we can do is theorize and guess ... So what do you think, a life of abstinence devoted to pure spiritual enlightenment or a more classic family life while he tried to bring the word of God to the masses?

There is nothing wrong with girls and Jesus did more and said more for His time to raise the level of women. In His day it was improper for a man to talk to a women in public without knowing them, yet Jesus talked to women the same as He talked to men. There are many other examples in the Bible of Jesus treaing women on the same level as men.
As for why He did not have a girlfriend? His entire life was about one thing -- fulfilling God's purpose for sending Him to earth.

Nothing besides the obvious things. Jesus spent a life devoted to God free form marriage. We learn from Paul that many need marriage BUt it is always best not to marry if you dont have to so you can serve the Lord without distraction.

He came here to preach the Good News of God's Kingdom.
He didn't need and earthly heir to continue in his foot steps.

there is absolutely no proof to support the fact that Jesus did not have a girlfriend. on the other hand ther is no proof to suggest that he did. why is it so easy for ppl to believe in Christ as the son of god than Jesus as a human possibly even a husband.

Jesus is God. God doesn't have a sex. He came in the shape of a man because at the time men had a much greater influence in world. God is purely spiritual. He did not have any girlfriends

If you read the gnostic gospels they talk about how Jesus was a high school quarterback and took girls to make-out point in his TransAm.

He came to the earth to die for our sins. If he had children being perfect they would never die. So this way he bought back for us what Adam threw away. Said he is now our father instead of Adam. So if we are obedient we have a chance to live.
