Can you go to a place like Lens Crafters to get them? Did it take a long time to get used to? Is it true that you can have 20/20 with them? Thank you so much for your answer.

I do and have worn them for many years. I love them! Do you have some specific info you would like to know? If so, post it as additional details and I will check back and answer for you.
addendum to your details:
I honestly don't know if you can get them via LensCrafter but sure don't see why not if they do contact lenses in general. Yes, they are supposed to be harder to adjust too but, to be honest, I had no problems at all! They will prescribe a wear schedule and it is more stringent than for soft lenses to allow you time to adjust to them. Often, they start you out at 2 hours a day and then work you up from there. Yes, you can acheive 20/20 with them in many cases.
