Yes, Our male will attack most animals that are the same size or larger than he is. He tried to attack a donkey on my grandfathers farm. Our female is almost as aggressive male, she has killed birds and cats that have gotten into the yard. We have not socialized our Boxers beyond our family and other family pets because their job is to guard the house. If you look at the history of the breed you will find they were used for bull baiting, not a pleasant thing. Not all Boxers are as aggressive as ours, if they are socialized they can be very tame.

Any dog can attack and kill another dog. Boxers are a guarding breed. Attack is not something that normally comes to them. However, a Boxer that is not properly socialized with other breeds does run the risk of the not understanding other breeds. A Boxer should always be raised with obedience and socialization.

It can. Recently I was walking my Shih Tzu on a leash and a neighbors Boxer came at us. I'm not sure what the intent of the Boxer was but it frightened me so much that I picked up my dog and turned around and went back home. The Boxer followed us and would not take her eyes off of my dog. It kept running around me and was trying to get my dog out of my arms. A different neighbor saw what was happening and grabbed the Boxer and took it back home.

My 4 yr old Boxer is the most mellow dog I've ever owned. We also have 2 Boston Terriers puppies, and he's very gentle with them. I can't imagine him hurting anyone. I hear that from most Boxer owners. I did see one aggressive Boxer at the dog park once, but he didn't actually hurt any of the other dogs.

THe boxer breed does tend to be a bit aggressive, but most boxers won't hurt another dog unless it's raised too or put in a bad situation.

A Dog Will Act As How It Is Trained, If You Train The Dog To Be Friendly To Other Dogs Thats How It Will Be. Any Dog Will Hurt Or KIll Another Dog If It Is Not Trained Correctly.

It depends on what it's history is, and how you raise your dog. It shouldn't if it's exposed to other dogs, but if you keep your boxer in close proximity to you and nothing else, including other people and animals, then yea, it could become protective. It's likely actually. This breed has been a statue of protection and strength for a very long time, so a lot were bred for fighting. Just watch out for any in breeding, or "line breeding". this can cause some mental retardation that can make a dog turn quick.

Although most boxers I have been around are gentle, it's not out of the question. They have those boxy muzzles and strong jaws that could do damage if they were so inclined. I think it would be a rare circumstance.
