If you're having chest pain, see a doctor immediately. Irregular heartbeats are common, but if this is the first time it's happened, then you need to be checked out NOW, especially if it continues or you have trouble breathing. There are many cases of young people having new arrythmias (irregular heartbeats) with exercise who die suddenly. This isn't the norm, but worth having checked. If you're worried or in pain, then don't exert yourself again until cleared by a doc. Again, it may be nothing, but is it worth the risk?

U have got answers already but the pain is because of what happens physiologically. The blood supply to the working muscles increase and therefore the output from the heart has to be increased. Your heart strains to do this work all of a sudden for a brief period of your running . this causes pain.

If you are experiencing heart pain, seek a doctors advice and don't delay. Your heart should never just stop beating regardless of what you are doing. Start your exercise program off slowly and build up.

try breathing more and deeper when you are exercising, that might help your head, the pain may be caused from lack of oxygen. Since your blood flows much quicker to your brain while exercising, if you don't breathe well enough while exercising, you will not have enough oxygen in your blood. Also, breathe and exercise with a rythm.

No that can happen when you don't exercise for a while... your body will readjust. You might want to stand and hold your hands above your head to slow your heart rate slightly.

It might just be from being in poor condition from not exercising, but it might be worth going to the doctor and getting checked out. Always better to be safe! If you have persistent chest pain, please tell someone in your family and go to the ER!!
