They dont evangelize to us. Evangelism is by definition trying to win people to Christ so why would an atheist want to win people for Christ?

If youre asking does it bother us if they try to get us to not believe in God, yes it does, especially to our children because they are doing the work of Satan and opposing God and trying to ruin our souls in the process.

i would not say i am an evangelical but i do follow christ and accept him as the sacrifice for me.why in the world would someone who states the absolute non-existence of God feel compelled to "evangelize?" I am open to any conversation with anyone and especially those who believe there is no god. What a great chance to show love and listen and care....i thnk at the heart of every athiest is either a true searcher (rare people indeed). OR those who are using every excuse in the world to make sure there is no God to hold them accountable for there lives. I was an athiest many years. running but never able to hide. I was HONEST thought and I was willing to search and ask the hard questions. I came to christ down a long road and hard journey....not some simplistic form or dogma. Search on i say and conversations are the best format for searching. God Bless.

Atheists believe there isnt a seperate god. I think if your atheist you believe you are god. What do you think? to evangelize is to pressure others into believing something you truly dont believe in yourself. If you evangelize enough you may have a following that makes you feel more secure in the decisions you made in yourself.
To release the energy to tell someone something just shows you want their feedback so you can either feel better about your choice or find out that you were wrong.

3 results for: evangelism

1. the preaching or promulgation of the gospel; the work of an evangelist.
2. evangelicalism.
3. missionary zeal, purpose, or activity.

The way you framed the question it sounds like atheism is a religion.

Do I get upset, no I listen to what the person says and then respond to continue the dialog. We may not agree but we had communication.

The only argument an atheist has against a God is "evil' in the world. The Christian acknowledges that.

Nope-- not at all.
They are entitled to what they want to think and do, just as I am entitled to not listen.
