Dear Godsgurl8:
God is not actually a human or physical form, so the term "kneeling before God" (for many of us) is actually a state of mind we hold as we commune with our Creator. For others, physically kneeling before an almost tangible Presence of God is a lesson in practicing humility. Those who do either of the above, have discovered their own Relationship to the Creator. They have also learned to utilize the Guidance and Comfort that He has offered us in the form of the Holy Spirit, also known as the Voice for God. Our Creator has further provided a Teacher in Jesus who can teach us to remember the Nature of our Creator, and know Him better.
No, we cannot stumble when we are accustomed to entering into His Presence. And, because we feel cared for and attended to by the Holy Spirit and the Teacher He sent us, and know of our Creator's love for His Creation, our lives prosper. (Not just financially.) Those who use the Guidance, and spend time learning of God through the Teacher, and GIVE their thoughts to God have come to understand that the inspirations, intuition and successes they receive are gifts that come through the Spirit. They no longer have much self-interest, sense of competition, fears of being opposed, nor feel limited. It has become quite the opposite of all that.
Humility comes when we understand that real Knowledge comes from God, as Guidance. Those who have learned this do not STRUGGLE to make rational, logical, sound decisions; but, we allow our Guide and Teacher to show us the right directions or methods to ensure we shall have all we need.
Those who stand in humility can stand Tall before anyone - even those who appear to have higher ranking, in worldly terms ; for there is no longer an "ego" at stake. There is selflessness in its place - for we have come to know that there is no "insult" to our human Intellect in receiving advice and direction from a source more knowing. We are not "weakened" by the Presence of love.
Best regards, Lana

I do not need to kneel before God, or anything, in order to stand before anyone. Like Iblis, I do not bow down.

I do not bow down to my Gods and grovel like a slave, I stand before them proudly and respect them as Elder Kin.
