Today during swimming i asked a couple of friends to ask this guy that i liked what he thought of me and he said he sort of likes me.But what exactly do you guys mean when you say that?cause i don't know if i should ask him out or give him time?what do you think guys?

It means that he would not kick you out of bed for eating crackers. Translation, he is interested, but doesn't know you well enough because you are both too shy to talk directly to each other and so you have to do your communication through 'friends'. You ought to find out for your self as once you get to know him you might find out why they call it a CRUSH!

The fact he said "sort of" when they asked if he likes you tells me if is hiding his true feeling because he was probably embarrassed to tell your friends the truth. Now, that could a good thing or a bad thing.
He might not be that interested in you but felt weird telling your friends something negative about you like that.
OR, he might really like you and is too shy too tell your friends his real feelings.
You are just going to have to talk to him about something, just start a conversation and see where it goes.
