Some get it from the Torah, Koran, Bible...some get it from the family and friends...still others get it from life itself. Where do you get your faith from?

Where does my faith come from? Well, some atheists say that logic guides them. Others say common sense, science or 'education' gives them their beliefs. But you didn't say beliefs, you said faith. That's different, isn't it? Faith requires belief despite proof not being given. Despite what others say or think. Despite logic. Despite science. Despite 'common sense'. Despite the antichrist spirit that is so prevalent in society, in our schools, in the news, in life in general. My faith? My faith comes from God. Period. God drew me to get saved. God led me to Christ. God deals in my life to get me to change those things that do not please Him. My soul is saved by God through Jesus Christ. By myself, I am nothing. God gets all the glory for anything good in my life. Without the saving grace of Jesus Christ, I would be lost. I would be damned. I am not where I need to be with God, but the good news is that God is not done with me yet. My faith comes from God. Excellent question. Gave you a star.

Faith does not come from the Torah or the Bible - it comes from within. The context and meaning of faith is "TRUST". When Jesus said, "Have faith in me..., " he was saying.., "Have trust in me".

Understand? Faith is not some mystical force. Its an integral part of who we are. If you have enough trust (through Jesus) you can say to a mountain, "be removed and cast into the sea" and it would do so.

Most of us are so conditioned to questioning every single little thing, we find it hard to trust in that which we dont see, touch or smell. We for the most part only trust in the tangible.

We lack faith (trust) in healing and we wont be healed. If only we can believe (through Jesus) in God then all things are possible. Thats not a lie, not a delusion.

I have none: faith is evil -- indeed, the ultimate evil. Faith is the belief in something absent evidence, or in the face of contrary evidence, and is thus a rejection of logic. But the ability to use logic is the defining characteristic of H. sapiens. If you have faith, you are no better than an animal.

Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.

When we are filled with the Spirit...faith is a quality of the fruit of
the Spirit. Galations 5:22,23

We can ask God to give us more faith. Mark 9:14-25 talks about
someone saying that they believe but asking Jesus to help
their unbelief.

Faith is a gift. A gift from God. We are saved by Grace, through Faith....there is nothing we can do of ourselves, for ourselves or by ourselves. It's all a gift from the Almighty. Even the Faith that we are given cannot be counted as anything we have done.

Faith comes from hearing the Word, and the Word together with its speaker comes from God. And only who trully seeks for It will find It.
