I sent him a nice gift and a letter, but can we do anything "together" on that day? We live too far to travel to see each other. Any ideas?

You dont have to celebrate Valentine's day together....what's important is for u both to be there for each other..no matter where u are, where u stand....whether there's oceans in between u.... i never really celebrate valentine's in my life...for me.... being able to be there for the one i love n for him to be there for me....even if it means only thru phone or emails or anything that is possible for us to keep in contact....im currently dating someone who is staying in another country.... we keep in touch almost everyday...thru text messaging or online messenger.... i called him up every morning just to wake him up..that's like my everyday routine....so we feel closed together....we've been together almost a year now...and there's no problem wt that..eventho sometimes..i have to admit...i do miss him so much...n that it's hard to stay this way...but hey.... we must believe what's in our heart..... if anything's wrong...do talk....ur just one call away..... keep each other feel appreciated and worth for each other..im sure everything will be ok.... i only met him once last yr that was in december...we spent times together doin all the fun things....like watchin movies, hangin out and playin arcades.....i feel comfy that way....u kno..when ur in a long distance relationship, u learn how to appreciate times u have when ur closed to each other...Gifts are not important...but how u feel for each other...everyday...

Make a video for her telling her how much you care for her and how you can't wait to see her again. Try to make it funny, and sweet. And maybe, send her a cute, quirky, hand made card to make her smile. For a cheaper gift, give her mixed candy in a little bag, with a patterned ribbon tied around it. Make sure it's all pink, red, and white. It'll look personal and put together. If you want something more expensive, but still cute, buy her some jewelry, but put it in a huge box. Then inside of that, have a smaller box, and inside of that an even smaller one, and so on until, maybe, the 6th box, which will have the jewelry. I'm sure she'll enjoy any of these. Good luck with your relationship, and I hope this helps.

I'm in the same position as you. He was on top of it though, and brought me flowers and took me out for dinner before he went back to work. I sent my boyfriend some stuff too, as a surprise. I dont think there is much else I can do. If I could, I would surprise him....just show up at his doorstep that night or something. Can you do that?

I am in a long distance relationship myself. So here is an idea. You can talk to each online via camera and mic. That is something you could do together.

Happy V-Day to you and yours.

Well if you can't go and see him and he can't come and see you then you could talk online or on the phone.
