That's a tough one. It takes a lot of will power. Take a deep breath before saying anything. Smile, if appropriate and try to respond with logic, not emotion.

I really feel for you, because I have the same problem and I am so tired of people telling me to relax or take a deep breathe. They don't get it that its not stress but a physical reaction. It has embarressed me numerous times when the adrenaline kills my voice, shakes my body and slams my heart into my chest. I am new to searching for a solution, but I'm going to go talk to a doctor about "BETA-BLOCKERS". Heard the block adrenaline rushes....check it out..honestly..Good Luck!!

Just Breathe. Practicing breathing techniques (deep, slow and steady) may help calm you down some. Also, try and think of something that is funny or makes you laugh during one of your anxiety attacks. Laughing out loud can help too.
Good Luck. Taking Meds should be a last resort.

Hypnotherapy will stop panic attacks. On the spot? Look at what's really bothering you instead of ignoring/denying it. Look at what it takes to change that situation and do so. Don't fight or run, stand up and face it without flinching.

Reduce your stress then the adrenalin will reduce. Find ways of relaxing e.g yoga, taking a jog, dancing, swimming, making love etc....

There is no way to "burn" adrenaline. You just have to calm down and slow down, as so your body stops releasing it.
