What kind of personality traits do you look for? Think really hard, try to think of something more detailed than 'nice' or 'smart' or 'won't fart in the bed.' Everybody wants that (well, most everybody), but I'm interested in the little quirks that draw people toward each other. Is it an absolute MUST that they share your coin-collecting hobby? Do you only date someone of your religious persuasion? I know I have two qualifications: he must be able to write a coherent sentence (for all the exquisite love letters he'll send me, obviously) and he must be creative in some manner--music, photography, even science, I don't care. I'm just curious about this kind of thing.

I've found that humor is a must. Both people need to be able to laugh at each other and at life. Once the humor fades, so do other things.

Health insurance is a priority.
