about 3 months ago i met this girl i fell completely in love with, and had so much in common with but it was 6 weeks before i graduated college, and moved 500 miles away. now, i would have had a lot of chances before to meet this girl but i didn't meet her til 3 months ago. bc i was leaving, she chose to be with someone else and now we don't even speak. so how come i feel like i belong with this girl but i won't be with her? did i mess up my fate?

Let's start with the idea that there is no such thing as a coincidence. No, you didn't mess up your fate. The universe presents us opportunities and how we make our decisions is up to us. You were presented with an opportunity and made a decision. You know that years from now you will have found someone else and will look upon this experience as having positioned you for your new relationship. Look at the positive, ignore the negative. Life presents opportunities, how you react to them is up to you. Choose to react positively, it's more fun, easier and the rewards are better.

That would completely change the meaning of fate. If it is fate for you to be with her, you will meet her again at a time when both of you are available. I bet someday you'll meet someone who you are meant to be with and you will thank God that he didn't answer your prayers over this girl.

No. The one you were supposed to get died when you were in first grade. I guess you will have to find another one. You cannot lose what you never had.
