Messiah does not necessarily mean that they have to be nailed to a cross. When the Jewish Messiah returns, everything's gonna be awesome... The chosen people will be taken off and the rest of you can deal with each other as you see fit.

At one time I heard an interesting study on the subject of Jesus Christ and His whereabouts after he was crucified dead and buried. What in fact did happen to Him ??

The interesting thing about the overall fact as to where he is/was boils down to an interesting bit of sluething:

First of all there were three groups that directly were connected to him- The Jews, Romans and Gentiles/Christians.

Each group could have and would want to come forward if they had proof that they had His body for entirely different reasons.

The Jews/Pharasies were out to disprove Him and would be the first to prove that He was a mortal man- BUT they couldn't BECAUSE they didn't have His body after the cruxifiction .

The Romans were the police at that time and they would have just as well just put the whole thing to rest and behind them-BUT they never could bring Jesuses body forward to show the world that He was just a mortal man~and go back to your homes...

Then there were the Gentiles/Christians- who were thrown to the lions , dragged through the streets, spit on ,kicked and reviled for believing in the Messiah.
Wouldn't it make sense that if they had Jesus's corpse that they would have thrown in the towel eventually for all the trouble that it wasn't worth and said enough is enough already...bring forth the body and let's cry uncle.... BUT guess what...they didn't have it either...
He truely went to Hell to do the job that Adam had failed at doing and then acended into Heaven & sitteh on the right hand of God- The Father AlMIGHTY !!!!

Christian.

It shouldn't matter to you. You are calling people "the" Jews, therefore objectifying them.

Jesus was a Jew. You could say that Jesus IS a Jew.

"Messiah" is just a concept. What's important is Jesus' message. And his message wasn't simply about fulfilling some fortune telling.

I don't know why you are so concerned about something that Jesus would never be concerned about.

I think you're spending too much time with uptight "Christians" instead of reading between the lines of your Bible.

As far as I know, Jews aren't similar to the psycho-Christians who need prophecies of doom and death to be fulfilled. There doesn't have to be this neediness for some Messiah from one of many stories in the Old Testament. If God loves us, he loves us now.

Just because you're Jewish, doesn't mean that you "reject" Christ. You've obviously got some sort of agenda behind your comments, but it might not even be clear to you what it is.

they don't seem "pretend" Jews. they are Jewish human beings whose eyes have not been opened. God knows even as each body of use will both reject or settle for Him. Yeshua, also knows this even as he will be commonplace by technique of the Jewish u . s .. from time to time with those topics we get too in touch and do not realize that God is on good of issues, continuously. in basic terms shop praying, and showing, not preaching at them, that Jesus is quite our Messiah and trust God to open eyes.

Hi there. Im a Born again Christian. I love your question very intellegent. Well to answer correctly as to what the Bible says, The Jews will never see another Messiah. What will come to pass know is the end off days. The word says that Jesus Christ will come down from Heaven in a cloud and with Him an Army of Angels ready to do battle against those who apose Him. Basically the Jews that are still in waiting are going to have a rude awakening. One more thing, God Bless you and Give your life to Jesus, HE is the way, the truth, and the life.

That is true some Jews do not believe Jesus came died on the cross, buried and was resurrected on the third day. The Lord caused to Jews to not believe for two reasons.

1. God used the disbelief to save the Gentiles by causing the Jews to jealousy by a spiritual blindness to Christ's true identity.

Romans 11
1 I ask then: Did God reject his people? By no means! I am an Israelite myself, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin. 2 God did not reject his people, whom he foreknew. Don't you know what the Scripture says in the passage about Elijah—how he appealed to God against Israel: 3"Lord, they have killed your prophets and torn down your altars; I am the only one left, and they are trying to kill me"? 4And what was God's answer to him? "I have reserved for myself seven thousand who have not bowed the knee to Baal." 5 So too, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace. 6And if by grace, then it is no longer by works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace.
7 What then? What Israel sought so earnestly it did not obtain, but the elect did. The others were hardened, 8 as it is written:
"God gave them a spirit of stupor,
eyes so that they could not see
and ears so that they could not hear,
to this very day." 9 And David says:
"May their table become a snare and a trap,
a stumbling block and a retribution for them.
10 May their eyes be darkened so they cannot see,
and their backs be bent forever."

11 Again I ask: Did they stumble so as to fall beyond recovery? Not at all! Rather, because of their transgression, salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel envious. 12 But if their transgression means riches for the world, and their loss means riches for the Gentiles, how much greater riches will their fullness bring!
13 I am talking to you Gentiles. Inasmuch as I am the apostle to the Gentiles, I make much of my ministry 14 in the hope that I may somehow arouse my own people to envy and save some of them. 15 For if their rejection is the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead? 16 If the part of the dough offered as firstfruits is holy, then the whole batch is holy; if the root is holy, so are the branches.

17 If some of the branches have been broken off, and you, though a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing sap from the olive root, 18 do not boast over those branches. If you do, consider this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you. 19 You will say then, "Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in." 20Granted. But they were broken off because of unbelief, and you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but be afraid. 21For if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either.

22Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God: sternness to those who fell, but kindness to you, provided that you continue in his kindness. Otherwise, you also will be cut off. 23 And if they do not persist in unbelief, they will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again. 24 After all, if you were cut out of an olive tree that is wild by nature, and contrary to nature were grafted into a cultivated olive tree, how much more readily will these, the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree!

2. The Lord will make Son true identity known to the entire world that he is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, Alpha and Omega; Savior of the world, especiallly to his elect group-the Jewish people!!!!

Zechariah 13:4-6
"On that day every prophet will be ashamed of his prophetic vision. He will not put on a prophet's garment of hair in order to deceive. 5 He will say, 'I am not a prophet. I am a farmer; the land has been my livelihood since my youth. ' 6 If someone asks him, 'What are these wounds on your body ?' he will answer, 'The wounds I was given at the house of my friends.'

Zechariah 12:10
[ Mourning for the One They Pierced ] "And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son.

Revelation 1:7
Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him; and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of him. So shall it be! Amen.

The Pharisees rejected Jesus as their Messiah because they thought the Messiah would create a Jewish state free of Roman influence. The Messianic prophecies were all fulfilled in Christ Jesus. When the Great Tribulation occurs, there will be a surgence of Jewish believers.
