We have sausage links in the freezer that my mom just got out. She said we're gonna have them for breakfast tomorrow, but I don't know if we can trust them or not. The date says July 2 2006. They've been in that freezer since we bought them, but will they be safe to eat tomorrow morning?

Generally frozen meats are only good for about 3-5 months after you freeze them. If I were you, I'd throw them away and run to the store for something that is in date.

As long as they were put in the freezer before July 2 they should be fine
If they were put in the freezer after the expiry date, they could be bad

They're defininitely fine. I always freeze stuff when I buy it on sale. Freezing it practically halts the formation of bacteria. Might be a little freezer burned, but harmless.
